Instructions for use
Before the transmitter is connected to the pressure circuit it is necessary to check whether the measured pressure corresponds with the nominal range of the transmitter. Even a short-time overload over the maximum permissible overpressure can cause destruction of the measuring membrane. With the differential transmitter, the user must make sure that the transmitter is not one-sidedly overloaded by pressure higher than the permitted non-destructive pressure for the nominal range!
Especially while using a silicon membrane, it is necessary to check the resistance of materials, see the front page of this sheet. Contact the producer in case of any opacity.
For the transmitter sealing it is recommended to use “O” ring 12x2, supplied with the transmitter. While sealing to the thread (Teflon, tow) for liquid media, it is necessary to pay high attention to caution because screwing into closed volume of liquid can cause increase of pressure and destruction of the membrane!
